The Crowley Gent's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 60-20 loss at the hands of Port Barre. Crowley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-4.
Alaysia Arvie was Crowley's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
D'Zyree Thorne held things down on the boards with four rebounds.
Crowley has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Port Barre, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.
Crowley will head out on the road to face off against Kaplan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Port Barre, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Eunice at 6:00 p.m. on January 5th.
