Basketball Game Preview: Herlong Vikings vs. Princeton Eagles

Herlong hasn't had much luck against Princeton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Herlong Vikings will challenge the Princeton Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Herlong is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 26th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They took a hard 45-30 fall against Providence.

Meanwhile, Princeton played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 47-25 to Paradise Adventist Academy. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 29-5.

Herlong's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Princeton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Herlong took a serious blow against Princeton in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 67-34. Thankfully for Herlong, Junior Andrade (who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
