Hayesville and Highlands are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2019, but not for long. The two teams will face off at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Hayesville was able to grind out a solid win over Andrews, taking the game 46-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellowjackets.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Highlands, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Blue Ridge Early College 59-15 on Friday. The match marked the Highlanders' most dominant victory of the season.

Hayesville now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Highlands, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Hayesville beat Highlands 36-28 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will Hayesville repeat their success, or does Highlands have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
