Softball Recap: Penn Manor Comes Up Short

Penn Manor lost against Central York back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Penn Manor lost 9-1 to Central York. The Comets' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Penn Manor saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyleigh Lamborn, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. That run was Lamborn's first of the season.

Penn Manor's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Central York, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penn Manor will welcome Cedar Crest at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central York, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Central York Panthers face off against Northeastern Bobcats at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. They are facing Northeastern at the right time seeing as Northeastern is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
