Baseball Game Preview: West Washington Senators vs. Northeast Dubois Jeeps

The West Washington Senators will take on the Northeast Dubois Jeeps on Saturday. West Washington is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

West Washington is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Borden, sneaking past 3-2. That's two games straight that the Senators have won by just one run.

West Washington saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eli Haley, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Alex Williams, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Northeast Dubois got themselves on the board against Wood Memorial on Monday, but Wood Memorial never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Trojans. The result was nothing new for the Jeeps, who have now won 12 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Sam Beck was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May. Brycen Mroz was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Northeast Dubois is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for West Washington, their record is now 20-3.
