Softball Recap: La Vega Pirates vs. China Spring Cougars
La Vega was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the China Spring Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-2 last Tuesday.
La Vega's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for China Spring, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. La Vega is set to take on their familiar foe Connally at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, China Spring will face off against rival Lorena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
