Baseball Recap: Bend Lava Bears vs. Summit Storm
Bend won the last time they faced Summit and things went their way on Friday too. The Lava Bears came out on top against the Storm by a score of 4-1. The game was the first time the Lava Bears have beaten the Storm on their field since May 3, 2022.
Cole Cooper spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
