It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Winters Mill Falcons ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They secured a 58-52 W over Manchester Valley. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Winters Mill.
Manchester Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Strohman, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Brendan Luddy was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Winters Mill has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Manchester Valley, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

As for Manchester Valley, they will head out on the road to take on Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 251 points over their last four matchups.
