Baseball Recap: Loranger Comes Up Short

Loranger entered their game against Slidell on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Loranger Wolves took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Slidell Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 12-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Loranger's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Slidell, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-7.

Coincidentally, Loranger and Slidell will both be playing Mandeville the next time they take the field. Loranger will head out to face Mandeville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Slidell will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
