Basketball Recap: Freedom Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hylton last Friday, Freedom came back down to earth. The Freedom Eagles fell to the Potomac Senior Panthers 38-32. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 43-41.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Potomac Senior, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Coming up, Freedom will welcome Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Potomac Senior does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
