Softball Recap: Van Arsdale Takes a Loss

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, Van Arsdale was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They lost 15-2 to the Brandeis Bulldogs. The contest marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Van Arsdale's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Brandeis, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Van Arsdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brandeis, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-4 victory against Lab Museum United on the 21st.
