Volleyball Recap: Soquel Takes a Loss

Soquel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jesuit Marauders.

Soquel's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Jesuit, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-12 record this season.

Soquel and Jesuit should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Knights will square off against San Lorenzo Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (238 vs. 646). Meanwhile, Jesuit (ranked 100th) will meet Inderkum (ranked 655th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
