 The Kings Mountain Mountaineers will head out on the road to  face off against  the Palisades Pumas at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Kings Mountain is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
 Kings Mountain put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout  on Tuesday. They blew past Forestview 9-0. Kings Mountain might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matches by nine  runs or more this season.
  Madeline Huffman was a major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. Huffman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time she's  pitched this season. Huffman was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Paige Fleming, who  fired off two  home runs and four  RBI while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Kali Weaver, who  went 1-for-2 with a  home run and two  runs.
 Meanwhile, Palisades fell victim to Chase and their airtight pitching crew  on Tuesday. They wound up on the wrong side of a  rough 18-0 walloping at the hands of the Trojans. Palisades has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Palisades saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Claire Huth, who  went 1-for-1 with a  double.
 Kings Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Palisades, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
