There's no place like home for Greene County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took down the Wayne County War Eagles 66-48 on Friday. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 51-19 loss the War Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.

Coby King had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 177 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 294 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards. Another player making a difference was Lakeus Franks, who gained 235 total yards and four touchdowns.
