Basketball Recap: Crowley's Ridge Academy Comes Up Short

Crowley's Ridge Academy and Earle squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Crowley's Ridge Academy had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 62-29 loss at the hands of the Earle Bulldogs. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Crowley's Ridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Earle, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

Crowley's Ridge Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Earle, they will square off against Marked Tree on March 15th. Marked Tree knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Earle likes a good challenge.
