Softball Recap: Anderson Cubs vs. Lassen Grizzlies

Anderson had lost seven straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 1-13 to make it eight. They came up short against the Lassen Grizzlies, falling 17-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cubs of the 13-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

As for Lassen, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-5 victory against Colusa on the 25th.
