Port St. Joe had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They took down the North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers 71-56. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 84-60 back in December of 2024.

Port St. Joe was led to victory by Zay Jenkins and Jayden Reese. Jenkins went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points along with seven boards and six assists, while Reese posted 19 points and five rebounds. Elijah Harris was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 14 points and seven rebounds.

Despite the loss, North Bay Haven Academy still got an impressive performance from Josuel Cruz, who had 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alan Forbes, who put up 11 points.

Port St. Joe pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for North Bay Haven Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Port St. Joe will take on Franklin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8 points per game this season. As for North Bay Haven Academy, they will square off against Mosley at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
