Soccer Recap: Sheldon's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

Sheldon and Central Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Sheldon had to settle for second. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. While losing is never fun, Sheldon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 76th, while Central Catholic are ranked eighth).

Sheldon moved to 7-5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Central Catholic, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-1.
