Basketball Recap: Gracemont Comes Up Short

After flying high against ASTEC Charter last Friday, Gracemont came back down to earth. The Gracemont Lions were dealt a 62-32 defeat at the hands of the Binger-Oney Bobcats on Monday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-29 back in November of 2024.

Gracemont has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Binger-Oney, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-9.

Gracemont has already played their next contest (against ASTEC Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Binger-Oney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-28 loss against Lookeba-Sickles on the 21st.
