Soccer Recap: Nelson Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lebanon last Thursday, Nelson came back down to earth. Nelson lost 6-3 to the South Salem Saxons on Tuesday. Nelson was not able to make up for their loss to South Salem from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Nelson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for South Salem, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Looking ahead, Nelson will square off against Aloha at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Nelson will be up against Aloha's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.8 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for South Salem, they have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Corvallis on the 18th.
