Boogie Anetema Delivers Best  Performance of Season
 On Friday, North got the W thanks in part to  Boogie Anetema playing the best football he has all season. Anetema threw for 319 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
 North's and South will meet in a classic North v. South matchup  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Saxons got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Spartans, probably because  Anetema had a solid game then too: he threw for 220 yards and four touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Leinart Made His Presence Known in Redondo Union's  28-14 Victory
 Redondo Union found a leader in  Cole Leinart as the  squad took down Santa Monica on Friday. Leinart turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 127 yards and two touchdowns.
 Redondo Union has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season. Leinart and Redondo Union are taking a road trip to  square off against Peninsula  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Ethan Maleman Delivers Electric  Performance Vs Santa Monica
  Ethan Maleman posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 173 yards while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105  rushing yards dating back to last season.
 On the season,  Maleman  has averaged 93.2 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season,  he was only averaging 22.88  rushing yards per game.

Kingston Anetema and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
 North picked up their fifth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Kingston Anetema. Peninsula had no answer to  Anetema  as he picked up 114 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 If history really does repeat itself,  Anetema might just drop another big game when he faces off against South on Friday. When  Anetema last faced the Spartans  back in October of 2023, he picked up 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

A Constellation of Stars for Redondo Union
 Another Redondo Union player making an appearance on this list is  Bo Ausmus. He picked up 76 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 This year,  Ausmus  has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 66.9 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season,  he had two  receiving touchdowns.
