Basketball Recap: Hagerty Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hagerty came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Ocoee Knights with a 68-63 victory. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 92-67 loss the last time these two teams met.

Hagerty's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Asa Kohn, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 20 points. Kohn's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Nicolas Garces was another key player, going 6 of 9 en route to 16 points and five rebounds.

Hagerty pushed their record up to 10-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Ocoee, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Hagerty and Ocoee should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Hagerty (ranked 201st) will meet Eau Gallie (ranked 585th) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hagerty is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.8 points per game this season. Meanwhile, Ocoee will take on Lake Wales at 6:00 p.m. on Monday up 210 places (179 vs. 389).
