North Valleys had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 5-16 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Douglas Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Tigers on April 4th, they had to take a 7-6 loss.
