Recap: Sam Houston Texans vs. Arlington Colts

This season hasn't been kind to the Sam Houston Texans, who are still winless after their tenth game. They were dealt a 52-0 defeat at the hands of Arlington on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Sam Houston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 839th, while Arlington is ranked 354th).

Arlington was led to victory by Coleman Cravens and Isaiah Robertson. Cravens threw for 132 yards and four touchdowns, while Robertson gained 129 total yards and two touchdowns. Robertson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamar Burton, who rushed for 53 yards and a touchdown.

Sam Houston's loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-10. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.3 points per game. As for Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Sam Houston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arlington will head out on the road to face off against Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Highland Park is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
