Basketball Recap: Jenkins Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calvary Day, Jenkins was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They escaped with a win against the Liberty County Panthers by the margin of a single free throw, 49-48. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The win got Jenkins back to even at 11-11. As for Liberty County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jenkins will take on Southeast Bulloch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Bulloch has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Liberty County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Long County at 7:30 p.m.
