Basketball Recap: Jo Sia Harris' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Northeast over Clarksville

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They fell 52-43 to the Clarksville Wildcats. The Eagles lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 71-31 score last time.

Northeast's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jo Sia Harris, who posted seven points in addition to five boards and four steals. Those four steals gave Harris a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Terry Jones, who went 5 for 10 en route to 12 points.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Clarksville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-10.

Northeast has already played their next matchup (against Rossview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Clarksville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-47 loss against Kirkwood on the 28th.
