Volleyball Recap: Fossil Ridge Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Fossil Ridge had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Saginaw Rough Riders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Fossil Ridge was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 23-25, 25-20.

Fossil Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 20-15. As for Saginaw, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-19 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fossil Ridge will take on rival Azle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Saginaw is set to square off against their familiar foe Brewer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
