Center Place hadn't done well against Heartland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Golden Eagles came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The win was nothing new for the Golden Eagles as they're now sitting on nine straight dating back to last season.

Center Place not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Heartland between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17.
