Saranac Lake benefitted from Akey in 61-59 victory
Caleb Akey posted yet another game with two or more steals on Thursday. In one of his most outstanding performances to date, he scored 33 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, making Thursday's game his highest-scoring outing yet this season. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Saranac Lake's points.
Akey and Saranac Lake will head out on the road to take on Franklin Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Thanks in part to Akey's efforts, Saranac Lake will roll in on a three-game winning streak.
