Basketball Game Preview: Galion Tigers vs. Genoa Area Comets

The Galion Tigers will head out to take on the Genoa Area Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Galion is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Galion ended up a good deal behind Marion Harding and lost 66-51. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 545th, while the Presidents are ranked 87th).

Meanwhile, Genoa Area fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Otsego on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 55-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.

Galion's record is now 7-15. As for Genoa Area, their record is now 17-5.
