Basketball Recap: Zillah Piles Up the Points Against Naches Valley

Zillah won the last time they faced Naches Valley and things went their way on Saturday too. The Zillah Leopards took their match with ease, bagging a 74-26 victory over the Naches Valley Rangers. The Leopards have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 42 points or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Zillah, bringing their record for this year to 5-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.2 points per game. As for Naches Valley, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Zillah will finish 2024 at home by hosting Bonney Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Bonney Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Zillah likes a good challenge. As for Naches Valley, they will head out to face off against Colville at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
