Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milken). Everything went their way against the Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Seawolves on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-1 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Seawolves recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Milken got a great performance from Jordan Liebman as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Liebman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Joey Schwartz and Elijah Shokrian did most of the damage at the plate: Schwartz scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Shokrian scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those four runs gave Shokrian a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Benjamin Feiner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Milken always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .657. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
