Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milken). Everything went their way against the Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Seawolves on Tuesday as they made off with a 16-1 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Seawolves recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Milken got a great performance from Jordan Liebman as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Liebman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Joey Schwartz and Elijah Shokrian did most of the damage at the plate: Schwartz scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Shokrian scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those four runs gave Shokrian a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Benjamin Feiner, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Milken always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .657. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Milken's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-6. As for Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Milken will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Seawolves: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
