Sequoyah entered their tilt with Lenoir City on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Considering the Chiefs have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Sequoyah pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Lenoir City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

Sequoyah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Heritage on the 5th. As for Lenoir City, they have also already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against South-Doyle on the 5th.
