Baseball Recap: Moore County Gets the Win

Moore County posted their closest win since March 6th on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the South Pittsburg Pirates. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Pirates last Friday, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Luke Stephens was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

The win got Moore County back to even at 7-7. As for South Pittsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Moore County beat South Pittsburg by a score of 11-1 later that day.
