Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Harrison

While Harrison's victory against Clarkstown North wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Rams on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Huskies, who have now won four contests in a row.

Harrison wouldn't go down easily and took Clarkstown North into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-20, 25-9, 22-25, 15-10.

MARISSA LUSARDI paced Harrison's offense, picking up 11 kills. LUSARDI got some help from GIA PINILLA and her ten assists. MICHAELA LOPANE controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Harrison's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Clarkstown North, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Harrison and Clarkstown North will both be playing Ursuline the next time they take the court. The Huskies will host the Koalas at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
