Volleyball Recap: New Roads Takes a Loss

New Roads was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Buena Park Coyotes, falling 3-0. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Coyotes apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

New Roads' defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Buena Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-14 record this season.

New Roads has already played their next match (against Rolling Hills Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Buena Park, they will take on Garden Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
