Volleyball Recap: Carver Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against St. Katharine Drexel on Thursday, Carver Collegiate Academy came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the East Jefferson Warriors by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Carver Collegiate Academy was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 13 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-13.

The defeat snapped Carver Collegiate Academy's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. As for East Jefferson, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver Collegiate Academy will challenge Landry at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Jefferson, they will face off against Fisher at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
