Basketball Recap: Moline Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Moline and Rock Island squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Moline had to settle for second. They took a 56-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rock Island Rocks. The Maroons' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Moline's loss dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Rock Island, their victory bumped their record up to 14-15.

Moline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rock Island, they will take on Normal Community at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Normal Community will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Rock Island surely won't give up without a fight.
