Volleyball Recap: Malibu Comes Up Short

Malibu lost against Harvard-Westlake back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Malibu Sharks came up short against the Harvard-Westlake Wolverines, falling 3-0.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Harvard-Westlake scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-23.

Malibu's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Harvard-Westlake, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Malibu wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Palisades on the 21st. As for Harvard-Westlake, they will head out to take on Paraclete at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
