Basketball Recap: Lab University Christian Academy Regional Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Biar Deng and Jalyn Connor

Lab University Christian Academy Regional lost against Bull City Prep National back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Kings came up short against the Bulls, falling 75-51. While losing is never fun, the Kings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Bulls are ranked 15th).

Despite the defeat, Lab University Christian Academy Regional had strong showings from Jalyn Connor, who posted 12 points and five assists, and Biar Deng, who scored six points and ten rebounds. Gabriel Thompson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Justin Golphin went supernova For Bull City Prep National., posting 31 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan King, who had 18 points.

Lab University Christian Academy Regional now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bull City Prep National, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
