Basketball Recap: Eman Starts Season with Win on the Road

Eman had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 38-29 win over the Riverside Argonauts. Winning may never get old, but Eman sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row dating back to last season.

Eman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Massah Yabrodi out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Ayah Alhaffar, who posted four points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eman will challenge rival Irvington Preparatory Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Riverside is set to take on their familiar foe GEO Next Generation at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Argonauts their first taste of in-conference action this season.
