Volleyball Recap: Crismon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Goldwater on Wednesday, Crismon came back down to earth. The Rattlers lost 3-0 to the Cactus Shadows Falcons on Thursday. If the Rattlers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Crismon was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Cactus Shadows' winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22, 26-24.

Aubrey Alexander paced Crismon's offense, picking up ten kills. Alexander got some help from Mckenna Hill and her nine assists. Finally, Alexander was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Gabby Procopio had a dynamite game For Cactus Shadows., getting 24 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Procopio has posted since back in October of 2024.

Crismon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Cactus Shadows, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Looking ahead, Crismon will face off against Desert Sunrise at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Cactus Shadows, they will square off against Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Falcons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
