Baseball Recap: Ross Takes a Loss

Ross was the 1-0 winner over Monroe when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ross' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Monroe, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

While Ross had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
