Fieldcrest had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Tremont Turks. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Fieldcrest was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (68-58), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 8-25, 25-22.

Fieldcrest's victory bumped their record up to 12-14-2. As for Tremont, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-14.

Coming up, Fieldcrest will head out to challenge Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tremont, they will host Orion at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
