Baseball Recap: Jesuit Victorious

Jesuit's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Faith Lutheran Crusaders by a score of 7-4.

Jesuit saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Colombara, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Tayt Jackson also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Jesuit always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Faith Lutheran only posted an OBP of .357.

Jesuit's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Faith Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, Jesuit and Faith Lutheran will both be playing Salpointe Catholic the next time they take the field. The Crusaders will host the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Marauders will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
