Soccer Recap: Woodcrest Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Woodcrest Christian was not quite Webb's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Gauls by a score of 2-1. Woodcrest Christian were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Webb apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Woodcrest Christian's goal came courtesy of Isaac Higgins, who's now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Woodcrest Christian and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Webb, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

Woodcrest Christian will take on Linfield Christian in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Woodcrest Christian's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Webb, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Ontario Christian on the 16th.
