While Glenn's victory against Tippecanoe Valley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Vikings 7-5. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won nine in a row.

Brendin Hodges spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on five hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Colin Hamel, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Lang, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Glenn's victory bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Tippecanoe Valley, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

Glenn will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
