Softball Recap: Wells Takes a Loss

Wells couldn't beat Lake Placid on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Wells CSD took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bombers. The Wells CSD's loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Wells' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Placid, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Wells and Lake Placid will both be playing Crown Point the next time they take the field. The Bombers will host the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wells CSD will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
