            Baseball Recap: Grace Christian Warriors vs. Parry McCluer Fighting Blues        
        
		
        
        
            Grace Christian had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues  a   4-0 shutout. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the   5-3 win the Fighting Blues walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2024.
Not much got past  Davis Reid, who gave up just  a  hit and racked up 18 Ks to keep Parry McCluer off the board. Reid has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in six consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Ethan Wright, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and one  run. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
