Cullman extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 4-6. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Buckhorn Bucks, sneaking past 22-19. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bearcats have posted since September 12, 2024.

Cullman found their leader in sophomore Colt Colvard, who threw for 170 yards and two touchdowns.

Cullman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Wyatt Harris.

As for Buckhorn, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3. Despite 173 more yards than Cullman, the Bucks couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the loss, Buckhorn still got an impressive performance from Djone Rosario, who rushed for 83 yards and a pair of scores. Parker Turley was another key player, having thrown for 252 yards and onetouchdown.

Cullman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Buckhorn, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 45-26 victory against Grissom on the 31st.
